These additional activities are:
- A second course unit of the student’s choice from the Frédéric Joliot-Curie track
- An innovative certification in scientific English created by the Department of Languages at ENS Paris-Saclay: Scientific Writing Assessment Program (SWAP)
- Experimental laboratory projects introducing students to the scientific method and scientific communication
