Overview of the DER in Chemistry

The Department of Teaching and Research (DER) in Chemistry at the École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay offers a high-level program that combines both theoretical and experimental training, in close partnership with the Orsay Faculty of Sciences at Paris-Saclay University and the Institut Polytechnique de Paris. Its mission is to prepare students for careers in teaching and research across all specializations in chemistry and at the interfaces with physics and biology, with a view to professional integration in academic or corporate settings.
